The Sunset Swords Banner
The Sunset Swords are a sellsword company, primarily formed by Westerosi exiles. Due to their exiled status, they primarily operate in Essos. The current Commander of the Company is Randyll Tarly.
The Company banner is a golden sword on a green field.
History:[]
The Company was founded in 388 A.C by Randyll Tarly after he fled to Essos after being sent to the Wall. He took with him a number of his escort, and those that refused were butchered. This propensity for violence remains to this day, with the Company being known for its like of unnecessary bloodshed.
Its numbers spiked shortly after the First Targaryen Rebellion, growing from barely two dozen to just over one hundred. The Company also routinely buys and frees slave warriors to supplement their forces.
They primarily focus on guard and enforcement work, due to their small numbers.

400 A.C:[]
The Company returns to the Free Cities after the completion of a contract in Yunkai. Outside of Volantis, they accept a contract from Darren Martell to escort Dornish Lords and Ladies to the Grand Tourney at Seagard.
Notable Members:[]
Randyll Tarly: The self-styled 'Lord Heartsbane' and current Commander of the Company. He has a lysene lover, 'Lady' Larra. She is the mother of his two sons, Herndon and Harlon.
Lewyn Sand: The Company paymaster, known for his stammer and frailty. Once a Maester, he fled during the First Targaryen Rebellion, eventually joining up with Lord Heartsbane.
Runceford: A Riverlander. He appears more akin to a beloved grandfather rather than a brutal mercenary, but is truly formidable in combat.
Caggo: A Dothraki and former Pit Fighter. He joined the Sunset Swords around 395 A.C. He has a surprising eagerness to see the world, although dislikes sailing over saltwater, preferring to ride.
Perwyn 'The Painter': A Riverlander, known for his love of bloodshed and youthful appearance.
Xhobar: A former Slave Soldier, originally hailing from the Summer Isles.
